Course Objectives
This certified Level 2 Food Safety Course Principles of Food Safety and HACCP is aimed at food workers in retail and catering. It covers the relevant topics and skills that all food workers are required to learn within 6 months of starting employment. The course does not have any specific entry requirements.

Course Certification
Certification is valid for 3 years.
Assessment
This course contains online self-assessments after each module and an online certification exam at the very end. The self assessments do not count towards the final examination marks but simply give you an idea of how you are doing. On successfully passing the final certification exam you will be issued with a certificate from MKRMS Food Safety. Its owner, Matthias Kausch, is a member of the International Association for Food Protection and a licensed trainer for the Environmental Health Officers Association (EHOA) as well as the National Hygiene Partnership (NHP).
Resources
The course can be taken at any time and any place so all that is required is an internet connection and a computer. Completing the course will use approximately 45MB of data which is roughly the same as watching about 10 minutes of YouTube video. You can complete the course on a tablet device. Course Duration and Delivery
Online Training This course consists of 10 lessons and takes about 8 to 10 hours to complete. We strongly recommend not to attempt to complete this course in one session. You should break the course content down in manageable chunks. We suggest that completing no more than 3 units every day is adequate.
